How to Make Your Flowers Last

Flower Care 101

Top up the water daily. That is all you need to do.

Every three days, change it completely. Empty, rinse, refill. Two minutes.

Find them a good spot. No direct sun, no radiators, no fruit bowls.

Cool and indirect. They will last days longer.

Pets and flowers. Their relationship can be complicated. Some blooms are toxic to cats and dogs. A quick search before you display is worth it. If your pet takes too much interest, a separate room overnight or when you're out is the simplest answer. Pet grass helps redirect the temptation.

Flower Care 102

Trim the stems every time you change the water. Around 2cm, at a diagonal.

Keeps them drinking. Bulb flowers like tulips, narcissus are the exception. A straight cut for them, same rhythm.

Remove any leaves below the waterline. They decay fast and take everything else with them.

In summer: change the water daily. Move them somewhere cooler overnight

if you can.

In winter: keep them away from radiators. Top up more than feels necessary.

Sustainability, by design

How flowers are handled matters as much as how they look.

Floral foam is a single-use plastic used almost universally across the industry. It never biodegrades. Most stems arrive wrapped in plastic, treated with chemicals, flown thousands of miles.

We don't work that way.

No floral foam. Ever. Foam-free mechanics throughout. Chicken wire, flower frogs, natural fibre. The structure disappears. The difference doesn't.

Wrapped thoughtfully. Paper, natural materials, reusable vessels.

Your messages are written on seeded paper. Plant it and it blooms. Leave it

and it disappears.

Seasonal and local where possible. We prioritise British-grown stems

and what is in season. What is seasonal is always the most beautiful.

No flower waste. We are a boutique studio. Every stem has a home before it arrives.

End of life. When your flowers are ready to go, compost them.

Stems, petals, foliage, all of it goes back to the earth.

Need a little more time? Touch-up visits are available to replace fading stems

and bring the arrangement back to life.

For recurring clients, we also collect for composting.
